Valiadis Returns to SMM Hamburg 2026

Valiadis Hellenic Motors will once again participate in SMM Hamburg, taking place from 1 to 4 September 2026 at Hamburg Messe und Congress, as part of the HEMEXPO presence at the exhibition.

This year’s SMM will bring together around 2,300 exhibitors and 50,000 participants across more than 90,000 m² of exhibition space, with the entire exhibition grounds fully booked.

For four days, Hamburg will become one of the principal meeting points of the international maritime industry, bringing together shipyards, shipping companies, equipment manufacturers, classification societies, research organisations and other key players from across the maritime sector.

At our stand, we will present our electric motor solutions for marine and offshore applications, including marine-approved motors, special applications, stock availability, technical support and repair services.

With companies from around 70 countries and participants expected from 120 nations, SMM remains one of the most international meeting places for the global maritime community.

Technology, Efficiency and the Future of Shipping

Technology and innovation remain at the centre of SMM 2026. Among this year’s areas of particular interest is a new dedicated Energy Efficiency Hub, reflecting the maritime industry’s increasing focus on more efficient technologies and solutions.

Electric motors are an essential part of that discussion. From propulsion auxiliaries and pumps to fans, compressors, deck machinery and numerous other onboard systems, reliability and energy efficiency remain fundamental requirements for modern vessels.
