Valiadis and Harbour Electronical Services Begin Cooperation in the Netherlands

Valiadis Hellenic Motors S.A. and Harbour Electronical Services B.V. have begun a new cooperation for the supply, service and support of electric motors in the Netherlands and the wider ARA region.

The cooperation was further developed during a working visit by Fivos Valiadis and Valiadis Export Manager Dimitris Komeni to Harbour’s facilities in Vlaardingen. The meeting allowed both companies to discuss the requirements of the local marine and industrial markets and establish the practical foundations for working together.

Local Service and Technical Support

Founded in 2002, Harbour Electronical Services initially focused on providing round-the-clock emergency electrical repair and maintenance services for vessels in the Port of Rotterdam. Its activities have since expanded to international ports, offshore operations and larger electrical installation projects.

Today, Harbour provides 24/7 technical support, repairs, overhauls and installations aboard vessels, at offshore locations and at industrial facilities. This local service capability complements Valiadis’s extensive electric motor range, engineering experience and technical support.

Together, the two companies aim to offer customers a responsive and complete service, covering new motors, urgent replacements, technical advice, repairs, installation and commissioning.

A Practical Start

The first orders have already been placed, giving the cooperation an immediate practical beginning.

Work is also progressing towards the establishment of a selected stock of Valiadis motors in the Rotterdam area. Local availability will help shorten delivery times and reduce downtime for marine and industrial customers.

The cooperation will continue to develop through regular technical and commercial communication, careful selection of the local stock range and future joint customer visits throughout the Netherlands.
